As part of our admission procedure, applicants are invited to the school for an Entry Assessment. The assessment usually takes place in December. Parents will be contacted via email before this, once their child in year 6.

The (written) assessment will consist of a basic test on English and Maths. The purpose of the entry assessment is to help the school and parents make an informed decision as to whether we will be able to cater for your child’s needs.

The assessments are sent off to be marked externally along with the school reports which are also checked externally.
The data is then sent back to the school, where the admissions team analyse the data before selecting the pupils for the next step.
