Our students were taken on a school trip to Old Trafford in Manchester. They had the chance to take a tour of the stadium, including the changing rooms, the stands and more. They also had an opportunity to talk about the different roles of the people who work at the stadium and the need for a good education for a career such as physios, health & nutrionists and sports scientists.
Since then, students have been invited numerous times to watch the first team play in many different matches in the League Cup and European Competition….although not all of them ended in victory! However, the experience of watching live sport at one of UK’s greatest venues was an experience they won’t forget!
