Marie Curie Fundraiser

In October 2016 the school held a fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Charity.Pupils were shown the good work the charity do by Anika in an assembly. The Student Council then helped to arrange a fundraiser for pupils to take part in and raise funds.

The fundraiser was a success and students collected just over £1000 for the charity in less than three hours! Parents had a great hand in the event and helped make the day successful by contributing with a huge variety of sweet & savoury foods as well as delicious and beautiful cakes and cupcakes.

The Student Council helped arrange a variety of activities such as a Gladiator bouncy castle, FIFA tournament, Pinata contest, fresh milkshakes and a fully stocked tuck shop.

All in all the pupils had a fantastic day taking part in all the events. We even had a visit from local MP Imran Hussain.
